Service Description

A tamal is made of cornmeal dough with a tasty filling, all wrapped up in corn husk or banana leaf and cooked by steaming. People love to enjoy tamales during the Day of the Dead celebrations and many other holidays. The word "tamal" comes from the Aztec word "tamalli," which means "wrapped." This ancient food has been enjoyed in Mesoamerica, possibly since as far back as 5000 B.C. You'll also learn how to make your own salsa in a lava stone dish Includes: - Welcoming snacks - Hands-On: Pork or veggie/vegan tamales (Let us know when booking) - 1 welcoming drink BYO container to take home your delicious creations! *Beer & wine bar upon request (Additional cost) Payment methods: Payment in-full online. *IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to logistics, we require a minimum of 6 participants in each session.
