Founded in 2002 by Sandra Lennox, La Hacienda was built on family recipes, cultural roots, and a desire to bring something new to the community.

What started as a small vision has grown into a place where people gather to enjoy real Mexican food, made from scratch every day.

Our menu is rooted in our heritage, built on family recipes, and dishes prepared fresh every day. Simple, real food, the way we know it — created to be shared, bringing families together around the table in the spirit of a Mexican sobremesa.

Today, La Hacienda continues to grow — from our restaurant, cultural events, cooking classes to Mercado La Hacienda and our artisan products, now available throughout Peterborough and the Kawarthas — sharing a little corner of Mexico with our community.
